How to get the best scan
Good light, a flat surface and a little space between items gives UNBX the best chance of identifying everything correctly.
If a photo can't be analysed, it's almost always light, blur or overlap. Retake it rather than saving a guess.
Step by step
- 1Use bright, even light. Avoid direct glare and hard shadows.
- 2Lay items flat and leave a small gap between them so they don't overlap.
- 3Hold the phone straight above, not at an angle.
- 4Fill the frame, but keep the whole item inside it.
- 5For cards, spread them out in a grid so none of them overlap.
